A wedding officiant is the person who performs the actual wedding ceremony & signs your marriage license, making your wedding legal. Wedding Officiants may also be called: minister, wedding minister, reverend, wedding officiator, marriage minister, marriage officiant, marriage official, wedding clergy, marriage clergy, wedding celebrant, marriage celebrant, wedding officiate, Justice of the Peace,  pastor, professional wedding officiant, and civil officiant. Whew! We like the title Professional Wedding Officiant; however, our officiants are registered as Legally Ordained Ministers with the State of Oklahoma. We can perform weddings throughout Oklahoma & the United States!

Absolutely! We offer an initial free consultation, meeting at a local location in Enid, OK. Busy or outside of Enid? We can also do a video chat or a phone consultation. Consultations usually last 15 to 30 minutes. This gives us the opportunity to get to know one another & discuss your options. If you choose to Save Your Date with us, we'll send you a contract to sign. The signed contract and your non-refundable retainer will guarantee your event date on our calendar.  After that, we'll secure your date on our calendar! From there, we plan a wedding ceremony consult about  4-8 weeks before wedding day. Don't worry- we will help you fine-tune all of the special wedding day details! 

This is our process for all services other than a Simply Married ceremony. There is no prior meeting needed for a Simply Married service, but we are happy to chat by email, phone, or video beforehand. 

Absolutely! For officiant services, we travel up to 60 miles (Simply Married 45 miles) at no additional charge. Events beyond this area will have additional travel fees. Planning services have travel fees built into the package price. We will detail all additional fees, including travel, upfront. 

We accept Paypal, Venmo, Cash App, and cash. A non-refundable retainer is required to book a service with us. Your date is not reserved until your signed contract has been received. Remaining balances are due 2 weeks prior to event day; Simply Married services balance due before license signing. 

You may pick up a marriage license at any county courthouse.  You must both appear & have proper identification. Once have the paperwork your license is valid for 30 days; you will need to have your ceremony and return to the same courthouse within this time-frame. Click here for more information.  A  rehearsal typically allows for us to make sure your ceremony is flawless- however, it is not always neccessary for an officiant to attend. During your ceremony consultation, we’ll go over everything from your entrance to who has the rings- all the details. We can also provide you with digital guide to assist in your rehearsal. Having said that, if we are available for your rehearsal, then it can added to your package. Te Custom Love Story package does include a rehearsal.  

 I arrive around 30 to 45 minutes prior to the ceremony start. I check in with your other wedding vendors,  and secure your marriage license for signing post-ceremony. Typically, the ceremony time is usually around 20-30 minutes. After the ceremony, it's often easiest to sign the marriage license before family or couple photos. I'll leave your marriage license with a trusted person and depart, leaving you officially married! 

 This is YOUR wedding. There is no right or wrong. You may have as little or as much religious or spiritual elements in your ceremony as you wish.
